Storm Q&A

How do I report an outage?

If you have power and still have an internet outage, you can call us at 877-969-3884 and select Option 2 for Tech Support.

If you have power, try troubleshooting.

How long does it take to restore outages?

The time it takes to restore service after outages depends on various factors including the power restoration timelines, the amount of damage to infrastructure and conditions that could be hazardous to workers. Power restoration must be completed before internet restoration can begin.

Why don’t I see workers on my street?

The damage that is causing your outage might be farther down the line so even if you don’t see workers on your street, crews could still be working to repair your outage.

Keeping You Connected to What Matters

Safety for our subscribers and employees is our priority. In the event of a storm, crews will be assigned to restore service as soon as it is safe for them to work. Once power is restored, the first step in the internet restoration process is to thoroughly assess damage. Once we have properly diagnosed the issue, we can begin repair. Contractor and mutual aid crews will be called in to assist restoration efforts as necessary. Priority will be given to critical public facilities such as hospitals and nursing homes.

We’ll Keep You Informed

Information on both planned outage and system maintenance are sent via text message to the main phone number on the subscriber’s account and/or email .
