Storm Readiness
CoastConnect is Ready
CoastConnect employees are prepared to respond to our subscribers in the event of a storm. Our parent company, Coast Electric, has an 85+ year history of storm response and restoration so we know that helping our subscribers return to normal life after a disaster is essential. Power restoration must be completed before internet restoration begins. We appreciate our subscribers' patience and support during the restoration process.
Tips to keep you connected in the event of a storm:

- Be sure we have your updated contact information just in case we need to contact you after the storm.
- Store our phone number (877-969-3884 Option 1 for Tech Support) and your account number in your phone for easy access.
- Stay up to date by visiting www.CoastConnect.com and follow us on Facebook and Instagram for updates.
Storm Q&A
If you have power and still have an internet outage, you can call us at 877-969-3884 and select Option 2 or Tech Support.
If you have power, try troubleshooting.
The time it takes to restore service after outages depends on various factors including the power restoration timelines, the amount of damage to infrastructure and conditions that could be hazardous to workers. Power restoration must be completed before internet restoration can begin.
The damage that is causing your outage might be farther down the line so even if you don’t see workers on your street, crews could still be working to repair your outage.
Restoration
Safety for our subscribers and employees is our priority. Crews will be assigned to restore service as soon as it is safe for them to work. Power must be restored before internet service is restored. After power is restored, the first step in the restoration process is to assess damage and then repairs can begin. Contractor and mutual aid crews will be called in to assist restoration efforts as necessary. Priority will be given to public facilities such as hospitals and nursing homes.
