Lifeline Program
CoastConnect offers the Lifeline program to make communications services more affordable for eligible individuals.
What Is Lifeline?
The Lifeline program is a federal benefit administered by the Universal Service Administration Company (USAC) and the National Verifier that helps eligible subscribers pay less each month for their phone or internet service. Lifeline can be used for either phone or broadband internet service, but not both.
The Lifeline discount is non-trasferable and you can only get one discount per household. You have to meet certain requirements to be eligible, and remember, you can’t get the Lifeline discount from more than one provider.
CoastConnect subscribers enrolled in the Lifeline program receive a monthly credit on their bill:
$9.25 internet
(and bundled)
OR
$5.25 voice only
(Voice Lifeline discount is applicable until 12/1/2025)
Please note that the voice Lifeline discount will no longer be available after December 1st, 2025.
