CoastConnect has partnered with the Fiber Gaming Network (FGN), a nationwide gaming platform that connects fiber internet users across the country, for weekly community game nights and tournaments. FGN membership is FREE for CoastConnect subscribers.

FGN hosts a series of online gaming events every week featuring popular games such as Super Smash Bros Ultimate, Madden NFL 23, Brawlhalla, Fortnite, Rocket League, NBA2k23 and Valorant. Participating players must register beforehand.

According to a 2021 study, fiber internet is 10 times faster than cable and offers better latency, resulting in a smoother and more responsive online gaming experience. What events will there be?

We’ll have tournaments on weekends with $1,500 prize pools. During the week, we’ll alternate between Monday game nights (featuring sports games with $500 in cash prizes) and Wednesday community nights with merchandise and device giveaways on the live stream.

Where can I watch FGN events?

The later rounds of the weekend tournaments and all Wednesday night events can be streamed live on Twitch, YouTube and Facebook. In addition to watching all of the action, viewers will have the chance to win everything from game systems to merchandise every week! We’re currently offering full access to all events for free to all gamers in the communities we serve.

We’re catering to all interests and play styles and will offer a variety of Xbox, Playstation, Nintendo Switch, mobile and PC games.

What’s the prize pool and how will winnings be paid out?

The prizes include $500 cash prizes for the Monday night tournaments, $1,500 cash prizes for the weekend tournaments, and $750 in giveaways during the Wednesday night streams. Winnings will be paid out via a check from Fiber Gaming Network mailed directly to the winners.
